Medical Support
As an improved level in rider support, this year we will be providing medical support on the Safari.

Accommodation Bookings
You will be able to book your accommodation online when we release it in February.  The accommodation booking facility on the website allows you to view the hotel and rooms with pricing so that you can make informed decisions on the accommodation you would like to book for the event.  You can also book for a group of people if you wish.  All you need in order to do this, is to get their Safari ID number from them so that the system can add them to your booking. You simply allocate people to beds in rooms for each night's accommpdation and the system will total it for you.  Payment will be made through the Bendigo Bank secure online payment system.

Ancillary Service Bookings
Another fantastic new time-saving service we are adding this year is enabling you to book your bike transport and order tyres via the website.  This will provide you with the convenience of being able to manage all of your bookings for your trip in one place.  We will email you when this is available on the site to be done.  You simply login and place your booking.

FREE Pre-Safari Motorcycle Check
All participants areentitled to a free pre-Safari check at your preferred BMW Motorcycle Dealer to ensure your motorcycle is in good condition for the trip. We strongly recommend you prepare yourself and your bike properly so you can enjoy the event.

The pre-safari check will be offered from Monday 2 April 2012 – bookings are essential with your preferred dealer. After your bike has been checked you’ll be given a pre-safari check sticker. This will allow you to use the services of the back-up support crew should you require assistance.

Rider Equipment
We would expect that all riders and pillions would have the appropriate motorcycle riding equipment including riding jacket & pants with armour (protective inserts at key points).  Kevlar jeans without armour inserts are not considered suitable for this type of ride.  Protective motorcycle riding boots and gloves are required.  Work boots or similar do not provide adequate protection when riding and are not recommended.

How to Register
Click on the ‘continue’ button below will take you to the online registration form where you will need to provide details of you and your pillion (if applicable) and make payment using your credit card via the Bendigo Bank secure online payment system.

IMPORTANT - Online Payment Security
An important point to note when going through the online payment system is an additional security measure by Visa and Mastercard, asking you to enrol in the "Verified by Visa" and Mastercard equivalent program.  You need to do this or your payment will not be accepted.

It is not a hoax or hacking site.  It is a real security system aimed at preventing fraudulent use of your credit card.  Once you have enrolled in the program, payment goes through smoothly.  If you have any questions about this, please call me and I can help you through it.

Once payment has been approved, you will be re-directed back to the BMW Safari site where you will be presented with a confirmation screen and provided your TS Safari ID number/s.  This number will be required when booking your accommodation and during the event.  You will also be sent a confirmation email with your Safari ID number.

If you would like to register online but need some help with it, just let us know and we can help guide you through the process.

We also realise that not everyone is tech savvy and prefers paper.  That’s why we have a PDF form available to download and print should you wish to post or fax your registration.  However, we must let you know that because registration is offered online, bookings are taken on a first come first serve basis.

The 2012 TS Safari is organised on behalf of BMW Group Australia by Maschine Pty Ltd.
